Shifter bushing c5z got one?
There is a plastic bushing in the stock shifter that wears and when it does the shifter vibrates/resonates at certain rpm in the low gears.
I got one from a mechanic buddy on another forum a couple of years ago & it's worn again & starting to resonate.
Anyone know where I can get one? I am fine with stock shifter so would just like to replace it again & be good for another couple of years.
Looks like a top hat.
Or got a low miles stock shifter you are not using?
(I know the c6 one bolts in.)
Thanks!

froggy is this inside the shifter box? I located the shifter box in my toolbox the other day but I can't seem to locate the actual shifter...the piece you need is on the end of the shifter?
I've been destroying O.T the past few week so give me some time to dig around I'm sure I have it somewhere.

Clean it, fill it 1/4 (judge it based on the size of hole vs size of shift ball) full with some rubber poly (sold in a tube), stick the shifter into it, wait 24h for it to cure, and have at 'er!

The only issue I may see is if the transmission fluid will break it down over time... I have not tried it. Was a thought I had while reading over the thread... sometimes my thoughts are good, other times...well...yeah.
