50th Anniversary kid's rocker
First, a short history lesson.
2003 was the 50th Anniversary of the first Corvette. GM never missing out on a "birthday" came out with the "50th Anniversary Option" which included every other option they offered, plus a special exterior color and interior.
They also came out with every badge, flag, jacket, shirt, hat and every other "geegaw" that they could think of. One of them is a very unusual item, a kid's rocker.
The rocker is made of hardwood and finished to replicate the original car in every way, including the color, mirrors and lights (decals)
The rocker is very well made, I think it's oak. It measures about 36" long x 20" wide x 14" high (at the windshield). It weighs about 25-30 pounds.
It was made by a company called Maxim Industries, and the total production was 1000 pieces. I have an email from that company verifying this information. They were marketed through Corvette dealers, but mostly by the NCM museum. Originally they were $299, but in 2004 when they still had some left they dropped the price to $179. The biggest problem selling them was that they were too big to go into a Corvette, and they were pricey to ship.
Mine has been my Corvette magazine storage rack in my "man cave" for about 8 years.
I'm asking $125, but you have to pick up or arrange shipping.
Thanks for looking.

I have one of these for sale
I'm in Toronto, Canada. If anyone wants it, let me know! We got it as a gift for my son when he was a baby, it held his teddy bears when he was a kid. Now we live in a small apartment and it's sitting in storage because we have no room. I feel like it should go to someone who would appreciate it.
