Not trying to say "I told you so" but what the hell : )

Here is info from Auto Art as given to me today...
"Items are due to be releases in June in China and arrive in US sometime in July. No exact date yet but will update as info is received."

If you want updates on these cars click here as I am in touch with AA only at least 2 times a week. http://www.nationaldiecasters.com/Corvette.htm

AA's monthly release list shows it as June. Probably right though, it won't be out here (if we're lucky) until July.

Oh, I've been waiting 2 years for the 1/18 Koenigsegg CCX to come out. So a month longer on the C6R hopefully won't be too bad.

I've still got my custom one to tide me over

I was bummed when I was at the museum and there were no jake cars. but it was probably good, I got out of there without spending hundreds of dollars on "stuff".

Your order will be processed as soon as the merchandise becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. Our Toll Free number is 1-800-53-VETTE. Or email us at www.corvettestore@corvettemuseum .

Does that mean they wont come out till Sept. or are they out of stock? I ordered them the first day they were available.

Just got off phone with AutoArt and they are on container to arrive between the 11th to 18th of July to the port. Then figure another 7 days to get through customs and to warehouse for distribution.
So dealers that had them on pre-order will most likely have them at the end of this month.
All of the Corvettes coming on this shipment are already taken by dealers.
If a company, like the corvette museum, did not place an order ahead of time they will not get any until the next shiment in late September.
Which is what it sounds like they did.
