In the 1/18th scale the Auto Art is the only way to go. They are as real as you can get in a replica.

The hot wheels car look OK if you are using them to fill in shelf space and they are out of reach from someone handling them. They are produced for the extemely budget minded and you get what you pay for.

The 1/12th Hot Wheel cars are extemely nice and for a 1/12th scale car the price is quite good. Detail wise I would have to say the Auto Art 1/18th is more detailed than the 1/12th HW but not by much.

Also note that the HW 1/12 is inaccurate regarding the rear carpeted area. This should be black. Some other details are off too.
The AA is spot on.
For pics of a disassembled AA, see my post here in Corvette Diecasts regarding an AA interior repaint...

I mean dont get me wrong i own the 1/12 scale hotwheels corvette and i like it, but it just seems like the propotions are off. I have two of the autoart c6s and they are just perfect.
