Did Action make a 1999, silver/black C5R #4 car?
Hey folks,
I have the number 2 car. AA made both, but I have never seen an action 1999 #4
Does it exist???
I think I have the C5R collection finished, I will post pics after I give my wife a Digital camera for Christmas
Also any news on the C6R front?
Thanks for any info, Gonzo

Yes, Action made that model and yes it looks like just like the other action models....crap
Lines are wrong, front tires are too skinny, body panel don't fit right

Thanks Larry,
Why have I never seen one on ebay???? If anyone see's one let me know, I thought I had them all, dang it
And yes I agree the Actions do not compare well to the AA's, However I have a thing for the C5R, and decided to try and get them all. Hopefully someone will do the C6R jusice
Thanks again , Gonzo

Action did not make a #4 silver/black car. www.scale18.com search the huge list for all corvette models.

from my understanding no C6-R in talks as of yet. I too have both Action and Auto Art and there is no comparison but I do like them both when Action gets the fit correct. Unless it's an exclusive car like Earnhardt I will only go with Auto Art for C6-R.

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the info and the web-site. One of me 1/18th scale goals was to get all the C5R's made, and now that I know that action did not make the #4 1999 car, I am certain I have them all
Now I look forward to the C6R releases. One C5R I wish they had made was the 2001 United we stand car, that raced at petit lemans. I would have loved to see the American Flag graphics on it. Do you think now that the C6R is due to come out eventually (actually there is a thread here were someon is preselling them, no working doors or hood is the rumor) That that spells the end of any further C5R's?
Thanks Gonzo
