confused about these harnesses.

I am trying to put an Alpine HU in a 96 Coupe, non-bose. The Metra AT-WHGM2
harness doesnt match the harnesses behind the stock radio control head. Also , the radio reciever is located in th RH rear cargo comp.
So I guess I need a long antenna extesion wire. But I am confused about these harnesses. Things don't seem to be the same as posted on the sticky. But the HU kit I got from vrumvrum sure looks cool !

If DEIAGGIE doesnt pick up on this thread, you might want to PM him. He's done the Metra kit before, from what I understand

that harness actually hooks up to the receiver box wires in the back.

Do I do anything with the 2 harnesses behind the Radio control head ?

no, the only factory harness that i used was located in the storage compartment behind the passenger seat, it only contains 12v +, 12v switched, ground, antenna, and amp turn on(IIRC)....i had to lengthen the wires to reach back into the dash panel...

Alright, something is wrong here. I used this harness and nothing works. Anybody have some ideas ?
