Default Any Jensen Sirius users out there? Nd Help

Ok, before you say anything, I know Jensen isn't a great brand - The wife got it for me for Christmas, so I couldn't tell her to bring it back!!

I'm really pleased with the service - The quality of the music is incredible, too..

But, I installed the kit to hook it into my truck's deck today, and I can't say I'm too pleased with the signal. Not the ANTENNA'S signal, but the signal from the rcvr to my deck. It's about 5" from the deck, and it keeps cutting in and out.

This deck doesn't have Audio in plugs (Low end Pioneer) so I'm using the wireless connection.. Am I stuck with it??

When I go to get it installed in the Vette, I WILL NOT use the lighter plug, so I'll have it hard wired, and I do have Audio IN on that head unit, so I think I'll be all set.

She was all proud of herself for getting all this equipment, I couldn't burst her bubble.. But I really wish she had shopped around a bit.

What should I do here?? Is this thing going to suck, and I should find a way to get a different rcvr once it gets towards time to use it in the Vette??

What is the model of this POS? I don't know how it is supposed to connect.

When you say ins, the RCAs are not ins, but outs.

The DIN'ish connect on the back of the Alpine is AINet and isn't all that compatiable with non-alpine components.

Well this isn't my Alpine that I'm taking about here. It's a low end Pioneer. There are two plugs on the back (Red & White) that say AUDIO , but , when I plug the Sirius into those, I can't control the volume of the radio - When I unplug them, it works fine, but the connection isn't the best. I know it's a really weak signal that's getting send, but it should be ok being 4" away from the head.

Model#.. It's the Sirius "Jam Pack" by Jensen. I got the 'boom box', the receiver, the car pack, and the home setup.

I'll have to look on the box for the model #. The 'boom box', for what it is, sounds great - I will only use that at work though - I have the rcvr connected to my Tower Of Power, at home, and it's REALLY clean.

On the back of the Sirius Car Pod, it says "Audio Out", so I was assuming it needed to be Audio IN on my deck?
