Well, If It was done by a audio shop, you should take it back.

It just looks like you didnt plan ahead for the wiring, thats all.

Also, dont be surprised if someone starts flaming you for using sony subs. Not that I think they're bad, ive seen some insane installs with them that would make your teeth fall out. Just that lately (past 5 years), Sony speakers in general have been on a downward spiral in quality. I used to swear by their seperates series back in the mid 90's but now, I wouldnt touch their stuff. Only sony stuff I own is a pair of 6x9's that came with my car when I bought it.

Here is a link of some crazy sweeds and their 156 db Sony DB drag CRX:

I think it looks good. Is that a fuse for the amp? Is your power wire also fused within 12" of the battery?

What? you dont use crumpled up alumnium foil for fuses? I know I do - it provides me with 3000 amp overcurrent protection.

im so fun-e

sadly though, ive seen it done

I can send pics to anyone interested....

I will relocate the fuse as suggested. Since this is a bad design according to the audio experts I am removing the picture.

Hey, I like the way it looks!

Does that amp have a fuse? If so, just put the wire fuse within 12" of the battery.

The fuse is needed so close to protect the wire itself. So you don't have, like, a fire.

I didnt think it was bad either....Its just that the fuse was in a bad spot..thats all......Ive seen a 94 Cavalier's interior go up in flames because of a short to ground on a fuse near the amp. Main power lead rubbed against the passenger seat and WOOOSH!! no more carpet, and alot less seat.
