Camera and monitor to see around rollbar and harness bar

The factory rearview mirror does not do me much good with the rollbar and the harness bar. I'm thinking about placing a monitor over the idiot lights area with a camea mounted in the rear plate. Has anyone done this? I know Lars did it with his DVD -- but I only need it for the "mirror" function.

I saw an earlier post with the video in the mirror, but I'm not sure I care much for that.

I'm open to suggestions.
