the bose system would require line level adaptors... i don't remember who makes'm, but they will convert the head signal to line level for the sub.

What brand tube? SAS Bazooka? If not, then return it and buy a SAS Bazooka tube. SAS was the original developer of the tube and theirs has the best response compared to any other tube manufacturers.

As for your questions (based on my installations of SAS Bazooka tubes)....
1. I got power, switch power, and ground from the AUX power adaptor.
2. You will need to still tap into your antenna power wire, just find the wire for your power antenna and tap into it.
3. Get the speaker inputs from your rear speakers. If you have an SAS Bazooka, you can tap straight into them and not worry about Line Level adaptors as the amp in the Tube will do it for you.

It actually IS a SA Bazooka.

Will the powert antenna have enough juice to run the amp in the tube?

So I need to tie into teh rear speakers and the antenna wire... That sounds easy enough.

Thanks

NO NO NO, do not use the antenna turn-on as a power source to the red wire of the tube. The ant wire was not designed to handle that much current. It is for a 12 volt turn-on only. There is a great chance you will blow a fuse (hopefully there is a fuse) on that ant lead.
You want to use the ant lead to hook-up to the subs turn-on lead (which is almost always blue) (some tube's amp uses the speaker level input as a turn-on) The red wire will need to go straight to the battery. Black wire to a good ground. Not sure on the music input but I also think you can hook those up straight to the rear speaker wires since I believe the SAS wil take either a low or high level input.
Let us know how it goes

Glad I re-read this before doing the install. OK, So I need to run wires to the battery and the remote on to the antenna.

Just so we are on the same page:

Do I want to take the speaker wires from the outside of the speakers and run the to the sub?

Do I take wires from one speaker and or both?

Do I need to run the power directly to the battery?

Also, will this thing fit/mess up my CD changer?

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,
As for your questions:
1. You can tap into the wires going to your rear speakers, so, yes, from outside the speakers. Easiest way is to use wire taps to crimp onto the wires.
2. For the SAS Bazooka tube, you want to pull from both sides to give a true mono bass sound.
3. You can tap into the AUX power supply at the inside passenger fuse box. Or, use the power tap on the fuse panel under the hood.
4. No, it shouldn't mess up your CD Changer. I am assuming you are going to have the tube above the CD Changer on the storage cover. You may run into a slight skip depending on how good the CD Changer is and how hard the bass is in the music you are playing. I had issues in the past if playing a "bass" CD of a changer and even headunit skipping, but that was when it hit really hard and low. I doubt you will have any problems.

QuesationL

If I take the pos and neg from the right side and screw them into the pos and neg on the sub..... Then take the pos and neg from the left side and screw them intot he pos and neg on thesub... Won't it create a mono tone for the sub, the right and the left rear speakers?
