Default what sub should i get?

Hey, I just got alpine F450 and want to get a compatable sub thats good for sound quality, not "BOOM BOOM"ing. Am currently considering diamond or rainbow 10' to go into one of these flush tops. http://www.subthump.com/vette.htm. Please advise this noob troll. thanks.

I have an Alpine Type R in my coupe. A friend who owns a car stereo store wanted me to get the Diamond but I got a better deal elsewhere on the Alpine.

JL makes the best subs IMO. I have a JL 10W6 in my car and it's fantastic.

ID Max 10" is a very musical sub amazing sound, max 1000W RMS, but sounds great even when powered by JL Audio 250/1

Just make sure the box has the depth you need. Big magnet on that IDMAX.

JL w6v2 is also very musical with high output.

Yep, I've powered an IDMAX with 230, 380, 750, and 1000 watts. Sounded great with any of 'em.

I'm juicing my 12" ID MAX with only 350 watts right now. It's great. It's a squeeze to get enough air space. I don't think it's possible to get over a cubic foot with MDF. I glass'd mine and it came out pretty well. I do have some funky things going on when a really low note is played.
