HUD Heads up display FILM

alright, i have a car that does not come with the HUD. But i can get it put in. This thread is about the windshield...... for my car they dont make one of those special windshilds that reflects the HUD, the kit that i am getting offers a little square (about 3''x5'') and looks like tint. well that looks really tacky having a patch of tint in the middle of your windshild. does any one know if there is like some kinda film or really light tint or something i can cover my front windshild with????? any help would be great here. let me know, and if you have a product send me a PM.

Is this for a C5 HUD? I don't have it personally, but when I was researching it myself, I read in various posts that although there is a HUD-specific windshield for the C5, the standard C5 windshield reflects the HUD image fine.

to be honest its a dodge. my dad has a vette and i love how the HUD works and i found a kit for my car but it has this little ugly patch of tint ur supose to put so im trying to research it and see what i can do.

Are you talking about the DEFI VSD kit, or the $100 ones found on ebay?
