Default iPod and iTrip in Vette Question

Well, I stepped up to the digital age and bought an iPod mini. So far, I love this thing, it is awesome! But I also got the iTrip so that I could listen to it in the car through the stereo. It seems to work great in my Murano but in my Vette it seems very staticie. I was wondering if the antenna in the back window would have anything to do with this? Any ideas or experiences with this?

I use a cassette adapter which works great. I tried several FM modulators (Itrip, Belkin, Irock) but they all had some type of static while driving. In addition, I routed the cassette wire behind the dash so it is not visable. In addition, I use the Apple Ipod wired remote control so I can keep the ipod hidden.

iPod wired remote!!! I haven't heard about this yet. Do they have one for the mini? Where do you think I could get one? Today was the first day I drove to work with it and almost got into two accidents b/c I was looking down at the iPod!!

Default tried this?

I had tried a couple FM modulators, then the PIE adapter, and I finally took the direct approach. See my link below for wiring an AUX device into the C5 CD changer audio lines. Works great, and for less than $10!
