Default Making a box for a C5

Is it possible to make a box that is 1.3 cu ft in the two little storage centers in the back of the car? I'm determined to fit 2 12's in this car but I'm having trouble mounting BOTH subs. I've got the amp figured out. Thanks for the help.

So you would like to make enclosures for the two smaller compartments on the left and right side of the car? Those enclosures need to 1.3 cube? If that is the case no there is not enough airspace...a single 8" just barely fits there. For two 12's you will need to use the larger center compartment and build up a bit higher than that.
Do you need 1.3 for both 12's? What kind of subs are they? 1.3 for 2 12's is a very small enclosure.

I doubt you could even fit the 12" driver in there and close the lid, much less make a box and 12" driver fit in. If you're absolutely determined to make it fit, the reshape the box and reglass it. This way may allow you to keep a flat floor.

Each sub requires 1.3 cu ft of space. They are 12" Audiobahn AQ125T or something like that. 400w RMS.

Ya, I agree too. You will have ot build out the center hole and possibly fire the subs inward (so the magnets show on the outside).

Has anyone figured out what the airspace is in the center hole?

I did some cuft calculations yesterday on the center hole. Looks like if you dont try too hard you can get 1.2 cuft for teh center area if you flush it with the top of the cargo mat. You will need to do some building up and use that area to get the cuft you require.

I have a feeling that this is gonna take a while to build. Oh well. I've got about 6 years before I can put the box in the car so I can build it like I want it. Thanks for the help yall.
