this is a great post 
I do want to point out one warning. I have heard numerous horror stories about the factory Delco battery. They can leak acid. Guess what is below the battery, the Vette's brains. Very expensive fix. Get an Optima, cheap insurance.

That was great! I am in the middle of finishing up my fatmat install and am getting ready to install the system. This is my first time, so I am very nervous. Thanks for the help
