Default FINALLY got around to doing a clean install

....ever since I've had my car its been rigged. Wires going everywhere, components just tossed there sliding around, but NO MORE! The past few days I've been slowly installing everything THE RIGHT WAY.
My system is not "show" by any means, but I just wanted it to be "clean and proper" this time.
I replaced the headunit for the 2nd time, screwed 1/4" plywood to behind my seats to put the amps and crossover/EQ back there. I was going to put the electronics in the rear but I like this setup better although it takes away a little bit of leg room and the seats can no longer go all the way back. I used the cavity behind the right rear speaker for power wires and fuse blocks etc. Maybe I'll throw a cap behind there too, we'll see. This time, everytime the wire decreased in size, I used a fuse on it.

I've completed the driver side, now I have to finish the passenger side and complete the sub enclosure. Ah yeah!

I really like installing a stereo in the C5. Its really easy. The multipiece carpet makes running wire a breeze. Large access ports into the doors. The trim comes apart easy. Theres PLENTY of room underneath to hide thick wires, AND there are alot of those reusable cable holders already all over the car!
Then only thing that sux is the damn headunit is so stubby and ground points arent too common, but careful planning can steer around this. Next I'll probalby upgrade the speakers.
