Default Has anyone seen the new JBL- 6000 watt amp

I went to my buddues shop the other day, and he has the biggest amp I hae ever seen.... its a JBL. This thing has to weigh a 100lbs and was just massive..

That's the JBL/Crown monster amp...it's been out for a while, though I have never seen one. That monster pulls something like 5-600 amps! :eek:

Am I an :conehead or what but how in the heck can you supply 600 amps to the amp, the biggest alt I've seen is 325 amps :confused:
Sometimes too big can be too much...just ask my girlfriend :D

PS I'm using Crown amps in my home system, can you say 4800 watts rms :thumbs:
