Will i need a Digital Cap with one sub and amp

I do have a pretty fresh red top optima battery. I will be running a rockford fosgate 601s amp bridged.. to a 10" kicker solobaric (old style round sub). Will I need a cap to protect my battery?

A cap isn't designed to "protect" your battery, so no worries there. I'd try w/out one first, you likely won't need it. Make sure to use the heaviest gauge wire recommended for that amp and run a short good ground.

Usually not needed until you are running an 800watt+ amp. Right fellas. I would try what Leolufse said first also!! :seeya
