WooHoo just got my remote start hooked up!!!!!!!

I got a Clifford Matrix RS2 for Christmas, however I had to pay to put it in. :rolleyes: I didn't feel like tackling it with remote start, so I found a local shop that wasn't to bad on labor for the install. So far it works perfect.

I got mine as a gift, but I have seen the same make/model around on the internet for about 129.00, then the install cost me 150.00. Which for around here where I live was a bargain. Most places wanted 250.00.

Its a car alarm with remote start. Clifford is the brand name and Matrix RS2 is the model #.

:cool: i have a Valet Remote Start / Keyless Entry (model 551R) that i need to install on my 86. most places around here want $250+ to install it, but i too found one place that said they'd do it for $150. they run a very respectful business around here too. they even said they'd wire my rear hatch up so i can open it up with the same remote. i just have to find the time to get it done. how long did u have to leave your vette with them?

Sorry I haven't responded, I guess I should check my old post more often :lol:

It only took the guy about a half a day. He opens at 8:30 which is whenI dropped it off, and he called me about 1:00 and said it was done.

Yep his price included the rear hatch release as well. So far not a single problem.

He acted like it wasn't any big deal, most of the other places I had checked all gave me the same sob story about "because its a Corvette" bla, bla, bla.
