New Stereo + C4 + Bose = No sound?

Hey all, happy holidays!

Well, I got a new kenwood stereo to replace the one in my 86. I wired it up and turned it on and no sound. I tested the speaker outputs with a little speaker and the unit is working. Is there some wire I need to hook up for the Bose? The speakers worked with the old after market unit so I am confused.

Please help!!!

I would check to see if the Bose amplifiers are turning on. Did you hook up every wire on the new radio the same as the old one?

All but the blue one as it says it is for the antenna motor and I do not have one any longer. But then I did try that one just a couple of mins ago and nothing still. The radio does have a dark blue one that says it is for amp power. But there is no dark blue one to connect to and I did not have this on the old radio. So I am assuming it is for an external power amp.

Is the pink wire connected to anything? That wire will turn on the amps.

There is a pink wire and it is capped off. Where would it go?

Connect it to the dark blue amp turn on wire. Should fix your problem.
