Default Sub Box Question: Is the Subwoofer Mounting ring SUPPOSED to be flush against the box?

On mine, like, half of the ring isn't flush against the side of the box. It looks like the sub isn't mounted all the way in..but the stereo shop did the install...could that be the cause of my air leak?

should be flush and there should be a gasket of some sort between the ring and the box to make it air tight...

I think you should get your money back from the guys who built your box, sounds like they were half drunk when they were working on it.
