Re: Can this alarm be installed in a '92? (Hammer)
I don't know that answer but I have some advice.
The installation is just as important, if not more important than the alarm itself. IMO, if you have to ask this question, do yourself a favor and find a recommended car audio shop and have them do the install for you and use what they recommend since they will be familiar with that product. It might cost a little more that way but will be worth it in your peace of mind and stress level. Good luck

I'm definately having it professionally installed. I wanted toknow if there was anything electronic that a 92 didn't have keeping me from having this installed.
Re: Can this alarm be installed in a '92? (Hammer)
looking at the web site you provided, the Corvette is not listed as compatible with this alarm 4100 upgrade. The 3000 alarm does list the Corvette but not in years. I suggest you try and call them?
Again, good luck
Re: Can this alarm be installed in a '92? (Hammer)
It should work, But you will need to set-up the factory alarm to disarm with the remote. I have the VKE 1000 and it works with my 91 wiring. If I would have known about those others I might have gone that route and disabled my stock alarm..
I have an older Cliffird 8000 alarm I never installed since i heard too many bad things about clifford on this forum
