2000 Coupe Direct Replacement Rear Speaker Options
Hello Everyone
Although some of you did some amazing things with your corvette audio system, I am only interested in a direct replacement of my rear speakers. No cutting or fabrication of parts. Can someone please comment on the following direct replacement speakers:
Polk GXR6E – 2Way – 92dB – 60-21kHz – 2-50W RMS – 125W Peak - $50
Kenwood KFC-C1739ie – 3Way – 92dB – 30-30kHz – 2-40W RMS – 170W Peak - $70
Rockford Fosgate FRC3206 – 2Way – 89dB – 35-22kHz – 2-50W RMS – 100W Peak - $70
Sony XS-F1721 – 2Way – 90dB – 35-30kHz – 2-35W RMS – 140W Peak - $80
These speakers were not chosen because of their low price but because of their direct fit. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Technically the rear speakers in a coupe are an "over-sized" 6.5". But, you don't need to limit yourself to 6.75" speakers, 6.5" speakers will work.
I'd recommend the Infinity Kappa 62.5i. $85 at ikesound.com. They will fit and are better than any of the other brands you mentioned.
I'm sure somebody has these installed here. Chime in and give us your impressions.
