Default Which part is car and which is Bose ? (88)

I'm planning to replace my Bose, got lots of good info about size of speakers etc

I'm thinking about making my own double din (1.5) adapter plate -

Can anyone tell me what parts are removed and what stays ? I'm hoping that the trim around the edge is part of the car and the Bose is flat behind it....but could I be so lucky ?
I've pointed to what I call the edge trim with yellow lines.

the trim is part of the car. The bose unit has a flat face.

Thanks Kale, that's good news, should be much easier to build a face plate.

(I used the IMG tag like you said, works great.)

It's easy to pull off the console trim. Just remove all the visible screws. I think there are 6 of them. Make sure you get the one near the tach. Once you have it off you will be able to tell what you are working with. Be careful putting the trim back on. It cracks real easy if you screw the screws in too tightly.
