Default Installing new stereo equipment, got a few questions for you guys.

First off, about the speaker mounts I'll have to make for components in the doors - what kind of MDF? 3/4"? also, is there anywhere I can find a template or should I just trace the old bose amp?

Secondly, where through the firewall can I route a 4 guage power cable, and where in the rear can I ground the amplifier, as fiberglass isn't the greatest conductor, so I've heard.

Third, will speaker wires (not RCA interconnects) pick up noise when routed directly next to power wire?

Fourth, where can I find detailed instructions on removing the door panel?

I apologize if this stuff has been addressed before, I couldn't find it in any search.

I am by no means an expert but I just finishe my install about 2 weeks ago. Here is what I know.

1. Just use the existing bose assembly as a template. I used 3/4 " to make my mounts.

2. Take out the battery and you will see see a bunch of taped up wies running through the firewall. Run you power wire through there. It will come out on the top left hand side behind the footwell panel.

3. Mine did not but I may have been just lucky.

Good luck
