Default '92 coupe system design

Hi everyone,
I've been reading the posts in this forum and have found it to be helpful. I've done some research and listened to some components. I've never done an install before, but i'm sure with everyone's help i'll get through this new adventure. I just bought my first vette and since I'm located in Illinois it's in storage till good weather.

So here we go: headunit - Alpine 7897
speakers- CDT hd52 component set
5.25 front kickspace/ tweeter on "a" pillar
CDT ms-80 subwoofer
Do I need an amp for the sub or can I use a channel from hu ?
GM barbed antenna adapter
GM wire harness
GM multi-kit faceplate

How does that sound? Have I forgotten anything for a basic system install?
I've read about the brownbread and dynamat damping materals, I'm interested in possibly adding that also. I'll search the forom fo info on taking the interior apart so I can install the new stuff ? I haven't bought any thing yet . I take the car out of storage March 29 or 30th. So I want to have everything organized and ready to start.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give !! P.s. sorry this was so long- winded. :bb

hmn.. might sound weird with your midbass in the rear... although i wonder if it would be alright with the alpine's time delay feature.

dont worry about buying expensive speaker wire... that just eats up good money for no reason.
