90 C4 Head Unit and Speaker Size

1990 C4 with the bose am/fm cassette cd, do I want to get a double din, or 1.5 din? I am also planning on upgrading the speakers, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

double din is the way to go...as far as speakers, well, I am in need of the same question.
