Bose + new HU question inside

My question is. If I replace my head unit with the panasonic CQ-VAD7200U, and use this adapter for the bose http://www.tune-town.com/Cars/stuff/pac_oem1.htm. Will everything be okay and sound decent until I have the money to replace the speakers and buy a sub? Thanks for your help. I am new to the Audio scene. Thanks for all your help

You will lose some of the "clarity" of the high's... it will be just a bit louder as well. That was my experience with an Alpine HU.
