Tuan Le, how would you get 6.5" components into the front doors of a C5? Aren't the front speakers 3.5"? If you could help me out here, then we might end up with a nice little win\win situation. :yesnod: You get a little extra business, and I won't have to settle for 3.5's. :D :hurray:

Sorry for the late reply. But I will take some pictures for you later on today. With the front stock speakers and their built-in amps removed, you can definitely fit 6.5" speakers in there and a set of tweeters also. :D
The speakers below are my old Pioneer 6.5" component set. I have just replaced them with a new set of Infinity Kappa 60.5CS 6.5". These new ones are BAD AZZZZZ. You can look up the full specs here. http://www.tlelectronics.com/catalog...roducts_id=134
This is with the stock speakers removed.
This is the speaker the MDF speaker template.
And this is with the Pioneer component set installed. The cross-over piece is installed behind the tweeter. :)

Can you replace the bose speakers, with aftermarket speakers without changing HU or adding an amp.
The short answer is no because the stock door speakers have built-in amps.
If you are going to add aftermarket speakers, you will need an external amp and an OEM adapter to connect from stock headunit to that amp. Or you can get a new aftermarket headunit with internal amp.
