which way to go??

I am getting my speakers and amp installed this coming tuesday. I know few of the forum members have suggested to use the voltage converter since I am using the factory HU to connect to the amp. I also saw a write up in the tech tip section that explains the wiring to connect directly to the amp from the head unit. Which way is better and in case of the voltage converter are there any differences in which to use or all would do about the same job.

Just use the PAC converter. When you decide to upgrade to an aftermarket HU or even go back to stock it will be a simple plug and play install.

Thanks, Do these (PAC) things generate any noise or are they pretty passive devices??
