Thats very cool! its just too bad you miss out on the 3-5db from firing into the back wall.

in that situation, who cares? the cabin is so small that a few db is not going to be missed...

3-5dbs is easily noticable.

3-5 more on top of over 100 is quite a bit of difference...

yeah

75-78 is not a big sounding difference
117-120 is.

I don't know how high mine registers...but it has to be around 120-ish. A 3 db increase would be really noticable.

You know you can get 3db by placing the solid top over the sub? I did at least.
