Default Neo Jukebox, any experience with one?

Am about a day away from buying one of those Neo 35 MP3 jukeboxes and plan on running it into the factory head unit (but will probably use the RF adapter early on).

Curious of any feedback; especially where you placed the remote display box?

I have looked at the website and am very interested in purchasing the Neo 35. I am anxious to hear if anybody has successfully integrated one into a C5 Delco|Bose head unit.

I have also been interested in the PhatNoise system, but I doubt that they will ever get around to making a C5 compatible system. I have been on their email list patiently waiting for over a year for them to tell me they have a compatible system.

I'll have a 20g Neo 35 by this Thursday. I also bought the LogJam converter that allows the Neo to play through the factory CD changer harness.

There is another CF member that has this same setup and he said it worked
out very well.

I think the biggest concern for me will be where to place the remote display. The ashtray area is normally the place for this, but I already used that space for a ham radio install. My plans at this stage is to inset the display into the center dash aie vent.
I'll have a better idea once I have tre remote display in hand.

I bought the NEO off EBay from an authorized Neo dealer. Brand new with all the accessories (or so I was told) for $333 shipped.

Neo Jukebox and the logjam converter are great! Just drove from Texas to Colorado with hours of mp3's. I would post the pics of the remote display install if I knew how. Any help?

all I've done was connect the Neo to my computer and copy MP3's tp it. Unfortunately I am being pulled at both ends right now and probably won't get to install it in the Corvette for a couple of weeks yet.

I agree; it is one sweet unit.

When I do the install, I'll take pics and start another thread.

I am ordering 4 of them for my a/v & computer dept. I am also ordering the new Alpine unit which contains a removeable hd unit as well. Will let you all know how they work out. If I get the Alpine unit will sell the Excelon 909 head unit.

Any update on anyone using the NEO in their 'vette? I bought a 20GB model off e-bay today, and I'm going to be installing one of these in my 'vette. Does anyone have any pics of their install?

I've not gotten my unit yet, so I don't know the answer to this quetion, but how do you supply power to the NEO from within the car? Does it draw power from the HU via the various 'link' cables, or do you have to run power to it like an amp?

That is what I am waiting for. Fortunately they are working on adding Sony deck support to it. Maybe they will get to my deck shortly. That would be nice.

What is Phatnoise, I have a Kenwood Excellon 9 series, is it better than the Neo Jukebox? I used a Jukebox20 today for the first time, the are great - fast solidly built and easy to use.
