Suggest a set of 3-way Components

Hello, This next month is car audio install month at my uncle's house. We are installing a system in his new BMW X5 ... I know this is not Corvette related ... I trust your opinions ... We want to install a set of 3-way components in the front doors ... Make suggestions ... with support for your choice ... The only ones I know of are Focal Utopia 165W3's ... these will be what we get if no one can suggest better speakers ... but we do need a place to buy them cheaper than retail ... maybe you guys can help with that too...

I have had the XR line in my 98 and will use them in my 02! They sound great and the best to me! Very clean! Only my taste and opinion ;)

if you wan't the utopia's then have sounddomain.com price match someone like carstereotime.com. I picked up the 165w (2-way) for around $550.

Best thing to do is just go around to all your local stereo shops and listen to the speakers and draw your own conclusions. Everyone's ears are different and hear things differently. I liked the sound of the Utopias, but I never got to listen to dynaudio because I couldn't find anyone locally that carried them. Believe it or not the only that I liked the sound of besides the utopias were Alpine's top of the line components. You can't listen to anyone else's opionion but your own. Some people actually like the sound of Bose home theater speakers :U
