SXV300 Install
Greetings,
Have the car (09 C6) apart to install a new Kenwood head unit and trying to wrap things up but running into a problem getting the SXV300 to interface with my stock XM antenna. I ordered an extension cable from Amazon (male-female), and the female portion goes into the SXV300 with no issue...however, that leaves the male end to connect to the stock XM antenna, and it looks like the gold XM antenna input is also a male connection so I can't get the cable to connect to it. Do I need a female-female adapter to sync the cable to the stock antenna, or will removing the remaining gold piece in the picture reveal a female plug?

Appreciate the help! My cheap Amazon cable ended up working great once I realized to plug it into the yellow connecting cord itself and not the XM box.

This thread explains it all, plus how to receive the terrestrial broadcasts if you're in an area that has them, there's a link included in the thread to search your area to see if you do. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-xm-tuner.html
