I have managed to get an Arc 2100 for a fairly good price. I have been looking into getting dynaudios but now am changing my mind since they don't have the strongest mid-bass and are bit to pricey.
Can anyone recommend a set of speakers that have very quality overall and the strongest mid-bass. Different price range speakers would be appreciated.
Strong midbass.. hmn... not Focals, they play really low, but have a more natural midbass sound... hmn... unless you can manage a .3 ported enclosure, then they slam. But in your doors? I dont think so.
MB Quarts midbass is overpowered by a shrill and tinny tweeter... hmn...
Someone here has CDT Euros, I heard they have real strong midbas... Haven't heard the Euro series yet... Maybe he'll comment.
I had a set of boston pro's 3-way in my old convertible. They had a pretty strong midbass.. Also on the Dynaudios you can attinuate the tweeter on the crossover, which raises the percieved mid and low bass.
I am the Competition Team director for Arc :D Why not get a set of Rainbow's, imported by Arc, to go with the amp? They are some of the best sounding speakers around and have almost any line to fit your budget. You will love the amp :D
