For $300, goodluck because it doesn't leave you with much but the Alpine, or Kenwood Excelon x759 or x859. But neither Excelon has amber illumination, just red button lighting with 4 color display. S/N is 105 and has everything else you want.
The Nak site says green is now standard but amber is available on request for the CD-45z. I'd call the Zeb and see if they can "request" one for you. You may have to wait but you'll get the color you want.
My model is still available and has worked without any problems. I used to install the naks and we had some problems on the entry level stuff occasionally but the higher end stuff was flawless.
I've bought two radios from this site (one of them was this exact unit). The last one i bought, it took them two weeks to ship it, but other than that I haven't had a problem.
This radio is Sirius satellite ready, it has three sets of pre-outs, front, rear, and non-fading. It has digital filters for all the outputs and pre-outs, high-pass for fronts and rears and low-pass for the non-fading. MP3, CD-R, CD-RW, and it has selectable red/green buttons with a four-color display. It also has Kenwood's bass management system, which means if you connect it to a Kenwood amp, the head unit can control the filters in the amp.
Because of the 60w built in amp the 7894 wants power run directly from the battery. I didn't use 10, but had a left over 12 gauge from my amp and it works fine. The shop I bought mine from said it was not necessary, but the manual was pretty emphatic about it, so I did not want to take a chance. I suspect if you don't use the internal amp to drive speakers you can hook it directly to the existing power wires.
