Looking for post to add Radio Shack tweeter to C5

Title says it all. This was several months ago. It was a little Radio Shack tweeter that was added to the rear speakers on C5's. I'd like to do this to our new AE Vert. Any body got the info?

Thanks for all the replys. I stopped by RS and bought the speakers this afternoon, btw, they are on sale for $14.95! I am going to install them over the weekend. It looks like they will mount next to the speaker grill holes in the top storage area. I'm going to use either double sided tape or velcro, I'll see which holds better. I'll post what it sounds like.

I've noticed that some of you have installed the speakers on the B-pillar. How did you hide the wire and how did you mount the speakers? :confused:

I installed the tweeters in my vert. Really helps when the top is down because the folded top in the trunk blocks the rear speakers. Place the tweeter on the carpet right behind your head and a little toward the door. The velcro that is on the tweeter will stick to carpet!

Got the speakers from RS today. On sale $14.95. Just deciding on the best place to install them. :D

Just installed the RS tweeters. Amazing!! Took about 1 hour(including 15minutes to find double sided tape. Mounted them just behind the seats on the b-pillar just behind my head. Best bang for the buck for $14.95. Had a 2001 Coupe and bought Pioneer speakers for $200 to replace the rear speakers--waste of money :mad . The sound is far more superior withn these little tikes mounted. I have a picture. Maybe someone can tell me how to upload my picture. Anyway, not a bad job for a tooth grinder :D [IMG][/IMG]
