Help with amp and speakers!

Ive done some research and It looks like I will have to add an amp to replace the front speakers if I want any sound. I was looking at a 6 1/2 inch seperates system from MB Quart, just their middle of the road separates. I would like to spend around 300$ on speakers and the same on an amp. Unsure of which amp to get, I used to use PPI amps a LONG time ago when I was into car sterios, with MB quart and JL subs. I see guys putting in 8 inch woofers, and was wondering what other speakers I should match that with up front if I decide to go that way. Any suggestions appreciated. :cheers: Also I want to mount the amp in the rear CD compartment, If I run the wires that far, will I suffer any signal degredation, or noise?

For $300 look at the JL XR650's, Crystal Diamond, and Focal Polyglass

Will those work okay in the stock location? I found some for 259$ thats not too bad, I am looking at the PPI PCX-280 for the power, how does this combo sound to you guys? :cheers: Thanks for your help :cheers:

US Acoustics will give you sound quality that will match $300 componetns for a great price
