Received a ridiculously cheap offer from XM radio

Registered at their website and they emailed me an offer for the Alpine XM add in for XM ready stereos with antenna for $79 shipped (MSRP $300+) with a 1 year commitment. Good for September only. I just called the # and signed up, it seamed legit, comes with antenna, the only provision he mentioned was having to put the XM decal on the car, which is kinda of a good faith request, not like they are going to stop by :) Also, he asked me if I was interested in a SONY unit, so people with other XM ready equipment besides Alpine should still call, they might have a deal for that one too. However if they are out of stock, there is no rain check. The deal seems too good to be true, so I put it on my AMEX just in case, easier to charge back in case of fraud :) I just picture some 16 year old in his basement answering this 1-800 number, and taking down credit card orders :lol:

XM has a unit to adapt to any car stereo. Check the website.
