Default C6 Bose Center speaker

I've read through several threads, but I am still unsure about whether it's better to disconnect the Bose center speaker in a C6 or replace it. In my case, I'm using Pioneer A series speakers. Was it ever figured out that Onstar and Bluetooth work just as well without the center? Thanks much!

Stock radio & amp? If yes I'd just unplug it and verify everything still works, which it should

Better separation. I just wonder if it sounds better with a good replacement speaker or without anything there.

Pop the speaker out of the dash and disconnect it there. Plastic pry tool and the cover pops right out. If you do it, let us know what you think!

Are you powering the pioneers with the head or with an aftermarket amp?
You get very little improvement removing the center, miniscule at best.

I actually haven't done it yet. The 3.5s are here and the 5.25s get here Saturday.
