Kenwood DNX891HD Parking Brake Interlock

Can any tell me if the new 2014 Kenwoods, specifically the DNX891HD can still have their parking brake interlock defeated by just grounding the parking brake interlock wire??

I just checked a different model 2013 radio and it can.
