Default Speakers

Recently installed a kenwood dpx500bt in my 86 delco(not Bose, thank God) vette. Looking for suggestions for better front and rear speakers that will be a direct fit.
Here is a link to the head unit specs if anyone needs it

Currently when I turn the volume up, not blasting but loud enough to compensate for highway road noise the speakers are at their limit. Looking to improve that issue as inexpensively as possible.
As always, your time and knowledge are greatly appreciated.

I can't help with speaker sizes in a C4 (look in FAQ sticky), but if you want to play CLEAR music loud enough to overcome road noise you'll need an external amp.

Thank you. What would you recommend for an amp?

Come up with a total budget for all 4 speakers + the amp, then give Dennis a call
