New sterio sound shuts off
Just had a VR-650B sterio installed in my 95 base by a shop because of my new knee install. Anyway they used a plug an play wiring harness. installed new kenwood speakers. Now when unit comes on, turn up volume to about 32 and ya hear a pop and loose all volume. must turn key off then back on to get low volume back. Help!!!

Just a guess, but sounds like radio is going into 'protection mode'. Normally this is due to a shorted out speaker wire or speakers that have too low resistance. If you had it installed by a shop I'd take it back and have them check it out.
