Can anybody that has one of these give their opinion? I'm going to build a system around the stock head unit, and I'm leaning towards one of these enclosures and an Arc sub....Specifically, I'm looking for really low frequency response, hopefully down to 20Hz, & I'm doubtful I can get it with a 1/2 cu. ft enclosure....Can anybody comment on it?

I'm sending 350wRMS to an Arc 10D2 in a VetteNuts drivers side box and I'm very happy with it. I do my tuning at 50Hz, and I know it plays below that, but I've never tested it at 20Hz. I can try in the morning and post results tomorrow if I have a test tone in that range on my iPod.

I 'tested' my Arc 10D2 at 50, 31, 25, & 20Hz.
Driving down the road at 40mph the 20 and 25Hz tones were pretty much blending in with the road noise unless I had the stereo turned up almost all the way, but they were playing clearly until distortion kicked in at the very upper end of my volume adjustment. In my garage with the car off I can hear them just fine at any volume level.
The 31 and 50Hz tones were perfect under all conditions

markcz, I REALLY appreciate you responding to my question. If I'm considering one 10", I'm obviously not trying to wake the whole neighborhood, but I do want to get as close to flat response as I can. 20-25hz is sometimes more felt than heard, but I do like to feel it if it's there! Thanks again....
One thing I just remembered... When you do your initial tuning of the sub, make sure the hatch is closed. The first time I fired mine up I spent a good bit of time trying to figure out where the bass was hiding, then I shut the hatch

I googled your sub and was unable to find physical specs on it. Here are the JL10W3 specs. It can not be any larger than this:
Nominal Diameter 10.0 in / 250 mm Overall Diameter (A) 10.5 in / 267 mm Mounting Hole Diameter (B) 9.0625 in / 230 mm Bolt Hole Circle (C) 9.7 in / 246.5 mm Magnet Diameter (D) 5.25 in / 133 mm Mounting Depth (E) 5.93 in / 151 mm Driver Displacement 0.049 cu ft / 1.39 L Net Weight 12.25 lb / 5.56 kg
