Default Help with OEM-1 and amp/sub

Hi!
I am installing the oem-1 unit and an amp and sub to my stock HU. I cant get the amp to turn on.. I have the remote from the amp to the blue wire on the oem-1, and the green wire from the oem-1 to the pin nr. 8 (dark green) on the black factory plug, is this the wrong wire? Its a 99 coupe. Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks,
Frank

If you connect amp trigger wire directly to pin 8 (dk gn) it should work.

Hi!

Thanks! The green wire on the OEM-1 is labeled "connect to pin nr. 8 on the black factory connector".. I tried to connect the amp remote wire directly to the pin nr. 3 on the factory connector, and this worked! I found info on the nr. 3 pin on the forum. So i can use this setup without doing any damage to the system?
