Default CF for a Sub enclosure?

Going to make my own Trunk (C5Z) corner Sub enclosure. One of my Son's is very good with Carbon Fiber, and offered to make one if I make a mold. But I don't see many enclosures made from it so wondering if its audio qualities are lacking.

Otherwise I'll use wood and fiberglass......

similar to glass, probably worse for a speaker due to it being lighter. you want heavy, dense material for speakers. a nice thick resin/glass enclosure would be easier and cheaper

Coincidentally, I just finished a fiberglass sub box...I painted it and although I like the color, I ordered two yards of 2x2 carbon fiber twill and the resin to "skin" the sub box. I get both the strength of fiberglass and the looks of carbon. Can't wait to get the stuff...just an idea
