Default **NOT RED anymore**After almost 2 years of bit/piece...crazy install

Hello All,

Thought I would share a few pics of finished install. I started with a package deal from DD Mods (which is still installed). Read a lot of DIY's on this forum, picked up a few more amps, researched building a fiberglass sub box (got ideas for shape/dimensions off this forum). Built it and an amp rack. First time taking on a project like this.

The box and amp still allow targa storage...the small "pod" mounted on the sub box holds 6.5" components and the tweets are installed in the halo. I hand laid the pod with left over sub box materials.

I know...box is definitely "RED". Best thing is is if I get bored with it, can repaint it quite easily. I like it though...

Total system is 2 10" sundown SA10 subs, Polk components, Helix components, Pioneer amp, and 2 Orion Cobalt amps. Yeah...overkill but sounds terrific. I wanted a fast stereo and I got one

Default Changed from red sub box to two tone carbon/color match

As I said in the original post if the red color got old I would change it...I did...I ended up two-toning the box (used supersonic blue paint) as new photo shows. I "skinned" the front in carbon fiber and the pod attached to the sub box. I liked the red...I like this setup better. Ton of work and patience when working with carbon fiber...

Like it, only problem I can see is that you can't hear the wife talking would love that, and if you travel for getaway weekend, no space for luggage, other then that I want it.

Thanks!! I drive out of town often for a few days for the job. I can still hold a carry on style bag quite nicely in the back...of course either top or bag. Choices...
