Yes, in the footwell of the C5, the wire harness next to the big shiny metal box. Yellow is switched power and Orange is always hot. You will want the switched power (Yellow) to do what you want.

Good luck. :seeya

You need to clarify.

Do you want it on all the time? Or with the key in acc position? Or under RAP power?

Also, what type of xm? RF modulated? Do you still have your factory HU?

I have my XM tied to the ACC power. Do you know of a RAP power source that I can tap into in the passenger footwell where I'm already located?

Perhaps if you're still using the factory head unit. You need the factory HU to interpret the rap on/off commands.

How much current does the XM pull. You might be able tap the power being switched by the Bose relay (which also powers the door woofer amps). If the current is high you could use the trigger from the HU (or the bose switched power) to trigger a secondary relay.

Don't have a service manual here. What is the size of the fuse feeding pre-switched power to the Bose relay? If it's big (like 10 amps) there's probably 2-3 margin. Could measure the current during operation. Could also tap it, and if the fuse blows you're pulling too much.

I tapped the headlight relay to control the HU dimmer. Take a look at:
