Default Dynamat, Raammat, or brown bread?

I have never used any of this stuff before but am taking forum members' advice to quiet my car while I have it apart for the stereo install. Planning on using the sound deadener on the doors, under the floor carpet and the dash. First off, how much square footage of material will I need (86 vert)? Secondly, here are the deals currently avail on ebay and elsewhere:
1.brown bread 70 sq ft, $150, free ship
2.brown bread extreme, 50 sq ft, $70, free ship
3.raamaat, 62.5 sq ft, $79, plus ____ shipping

Which is the best deal or do you know of better? Thanks for all opinions.

All I know is that Brown Bread is an easy install and I used 2 layers in some parts and it worked great ...

If it’s Raammat60 then that may be the best deal there. I have Brown-Bread in my car, 4 to 5 layers on each door panel and doorframe. 4 to 6 layers under the carpet up to the firewall and the entire rear hatch area. Installing was long and tedious, a real PITA. Have to use a heat gun and roller to apply it correctly but it is well worth the labor in the end.
My car is so airtight, it’s as tight as a gnat’s ass wrapped around a hoe handle. Road noise is almost non-existent and the decibel rang inside the car has risen greatly. No rattling or vibrating either. That to me is the best part of it.

Raammat doesn’t require a heat gun to apply but you will still need a roller (wooden wall paper roller from a hardware store). It is a bit thinner than the Brown-Bread but with those prices an extra layer or two won’t hurt anything.

I’d say try the Raammat and tell us how you like it. :seeya

Nomad- It is the Raamat60. Do you remember how many sq ft you used? I don't think I'm going to be as thorough as you were (at least on the first application), but I'm trying to get an idea of how much I'd need to do the doors, dash and floor panels (and maybe the rear if I have some left). TIA

I used around 150^ft. but I have a coup and put down several layers.
Since you have a vert and don't plan to put down so many layers, go for that 65.5^ft. of Raammat. That should get you started nicely. :yesnod:
