Default Pulled the bose in the door, 6.5 / 3-ways?

Are 6.5's ,,, 3-ways the way to go for the doors?

Or compoenents? If I go with components I would put them in the hole next to probably 5.25"s.

Thoughts please cause, this is my last go round with this crazy stereo system. BTW I have Infinfit 6x9's in the rear.

Never go three way speakers, or triax, unless they are 6x9 or bigger. It is a marketing technique. The extra tweeter does nothing to make it sound better but does block alot of midrange.
In order of preference: Good quality seperates, 6.5 coax, 5.25 coax. It depends on how much power you have and how much you want to spend.

75x 2 is the power for the speakers and $200 is the budget. It sounds like 5-1/4 components would be the way to go.

FYI, my dash speakers that I took out were 4x6 Infinfity speakers with a .75 tweeter and a 4" mid.

With that power, a set of coax is in order. You will be pressed to get a high end set but it is doable. Try looking for one on ebay, at shops as leftovers or discontinued brands, etc. That's how I got my Bostons. 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 would both work though the 5s would fit easier and the 6s would probably sound better.

5.5" to 6.5" will requier a little cutting on the door pod to get it in.
Depending on the mounting depth of the 6.5” it may require building a baffle.
